Job Context:

∎ In this role, you will join a team of 4 colleagues, and you will be coached by the Country Coordinator.
∎ We offer a consultancy agreement for 12 months for 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring and evaluation support to WAI, WASH SDG Programme (70%) / Learning, strengthen linkage and dissemination of findings (20%) / Documentation and reporting (10%) / Main tasks describe below:
∎ Provide Monitoring and Evaluation support to Simavi MEL advisor, Country Coordinator and partner organisations to ensure proper and timely M&E-procedures, following the requirements of the WAI, WASH SDG programme PME framework;
∎ Objectively, critically and analytically review of programme results, and reports in light with the Theory of Change (ToC) for the sub-programme-quality check;
∎ Conduct regular field monitoring visits to intervention areas and together with the partners facilitate participatory joint programme monitoring together with the government representatives and communities;
∎ Support partners organisations and the Country Coordinator in the use of digital and online monitoring tools and databases (incl. fulfilling administrator role for Akvo RSR dashboard). Liaise with Akvo for RSR training and provide necessary PMEL support
∎ Support LIO in assessing and entering the results in database if needed;
∎ Lead the PMEL sessions in the bi-annual in-country partner meetings, mid-year review workshops, and the planning workshops. At least once a year, a ToC revisions needs to be included.
∎ Coordinate processes of (outcome) measurements and evaluations.
∎ Develop qualitative data collection methods in order to capture change processes and outcomes.
∎ Coordinate sharing sessions between partner organisations to identify challenges, learning and way forward;
∎ Participate in events, workshops, seminars, and dissemination workshops that enrich learnings within the programme, and monitoring and evaluation knowledge and information database;
∎ Provide inputs and ensure proper application of the WAI formats and tools, and provide input in the development of these formats and tools (PME framework, reporting template, measuring methods, alignment with TOC, etc.);
∎ Document best practices and innovations related to monitoring and evaluation; Special attention needs to be given to the mainstreaming of Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) and Climate Vulnerability and Resilience (CVR);

Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of and interest in working with Project Connect or online databases and MEL related software
∎ Experience with designing robust evaluations, strong data-analysis skills and familiar with the use of STATA and other software
∎ Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English within a multicultural context
∎ Excellent IT skills to organize your hybrid work - Teams and Outlook have no secrets for you

∎ You stand your ground and know how to provide and receive feedback in a positive way.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 70000 - 90000 (Monthly)
∎ The salary provided is a monthly consultancy fee, inclusive of VAT (or similar, if applicable), medical, pension and life insurance, commuting costs and communication costs (i.e. mobile phone).
