∎ The Team:
∎ In this role, you will join a team of 7 colleagues from the Programme team in Bangladesh. You will also be in contact with colleagues from the Dutch office. You will be coached by the Country coordinator WAI WASH SDG .
∎ An exciting and challenging position in an international working environment. We offer a 1 year consultancy agreement, that can be extended, for a full time employment (40 hours).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Finance, Accounts and Admin assistant is primarily responsible for managing accounts, maintaining office and administrative issues of Country Office, Simavi and assist Country Coordinator and other WAI WASH SDG colleague to accounts and finance requirements. This position holder will provide administrative support to country office of Simavi. The Finance, Accounts and Admin Assistant should also work with Finance Officer, DORP.
∎ Your result areas:
∎ Accounts, Finance and Audit (70%):
∎ Maintain daily financial activities of WAI WASH SDG programme in Bangladesh.
∎ Prepare purchase request for office supplies, Procurement of project materials as per Budget and follow procurement rules of Simavi and DORP.
∎ Bank Account Maintain /Deposit account payee cheque. Prepare and send bills, vouchers to DORP for record.
∎ Prepare daily debit vouchers with all the bills, obtained approval and send debit vouchers to DORP in each 6 months.
∎ Submit and obtain approval of fund request from Country Coordinator.
∎ Manage petty cash of WAI, WASH, SDG.
∎ Assist in preparing budget of Dhaka Office.
∎ Support Country Coordinator to review financial report of the partners.
∎ Collect and keep records of all vouchers, Collect and keep records of all vouchers related to expenses done by WAI WASH SDG Simavi team. Support DORP finance officer for Audit with NGO Bureau for the WASH SDG programme.
∎ Managing a country office accounts payable and receivable.
∎ Prepare payment voucher. (House rent/ common charge/ Gas bill/ Water bill/cleaning bill and prepare salary for office helper.
∎ Assist WAI BD team to prepare financial closing reports.
∎ Administrative and Office Maintenance (30%):
∎ Collect quotation, prepare comparative statement, prepare purchase order and select vendors and procure goods and services following Simavi and DORP procedures.
∎ Arrange necessary logistic support for conducting meeting, workshop, training, field visits, for partners, staff and international visitors.
∎ Support to Dutch partner and Simavi colleague, invitation letter, accommodation, arrange field visit.
∎ Keep records of incoming and outgoing documents.
∎ Maintain stock of stationery and assets (in store) and petty cash.
∎ Maintain contract agreement (House rent/Internet service/office helper contract.
∎ Supervise Office Helper.
∎ Preserve all original bill vouchers, filling in proper way and maintain office files/ registers.
∎ Drafting letters (Bangla/ English).
∎ Any other task assigned by supervisor/coach.
∎ Assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing and travel bookings.
∎ Prepare annual leave register.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years of experience in managing office management and dealing with administrative issues in office.
∎ Computer knowledge in MS word, Excel, and Power point.
∎ Should have knowledge and adequate skills on Bangla and English typing.
∎ Conversant in English Communication both verbal and written.
∎ Self-motivated, energetic, team player with administrative skills.
∎ Excellent conceptual and planning skills with strong attention to detail.

Salary:
∎ The fee for this role is between BDT 50.000 to BDT 60.000 per month.
