Job Context:
∎ Project Name: Increasing Access to Improved WASH Services in Bangladesh Project
∎ Job Location: Khulna and Bagerhat district
∎ The M&E Coordinator, reporting to the Project Manager, will be a full-time employee responsible for designing and implementing the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities and ensuring the result-based management of Increasing Access to Improved WASH Services in Bangladesh Project. The position holder will develop/customize different M&E tools/system/process/KoBo toolbox/ plan and implement an efficient project M&E system, track output delivery and assess outcomes to understand project progress towards achieving objectives by holding routine monitoring, post distribution monitoring, survey design and conduction, compile information and produce a quarterly report for the project management team to take decisions. Data quality assurance is one of the critical responsibilities of this position holder and will provide effort for staff capacity building on updated M&E issues, especially on Kobo Toolbox, to ensure data integrity and data management.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate, collaborate monitor and work closely to extend technical support and assistance to relevant project staff, monitor including stakeholders, to carry out specific activities, program assessments and evaluations (e.g., daily surveys, different surveys, Annual Survey and Final Evaluation) on a timely basis.
∎ M&E Coordinator needs to work closely with the Project Manager and team members to plan the routing of M&E systems wherever the information management and automation process is highly required for efficient program operation.
∎ Carefully examine real-time operation processes, including primary data sources, necessary inputs based on output requirements, and their inter-relationships.
∎ Prepare a work plan to implement the systems within the operational area and oversee the overall implementation process through M&E/ Program staff and the relevant program management team at Upazila level.
∎ Provide a clear description of his/her planned approach to data collection, management, access, sharing, and usage in line with the Data Responsibility Guidance on the Kobo.
∎ Ensure that program data is collected, analyzed, and reported accurately, reliably, and in a timely manner, ensuring gender, inclusion, and safeguarding priority.
∎ Conduct regular field visits to monitor program implementation progress, share reports, and identify areas for improvement.
∎ Provide regular feedback and technical guidance to program staff on MEAL activities.
∎ Support to Design and improve the entire MEAL system.
∎ Collect information and gather evidence based on the project intervention and progress.
∎ Contribute to preparing monthly, quarterly, year-end, and project completion reports.
∎ Compile and update the dashboard to present updated needs, gaps, constraints, challenges, resources, etc.
∎ Kobo data collection, analysis, and mapping
∎ Participate in various internal and external meetings, training and workshops where project responsibility has.
∎ Capture case studies, lessons learned and best practices as project required.
∎ Oversee the proper management of the project Kobo database.
∎ Working under pressure at any time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, NGOs.
∎ Understanding of WASH and Climate Change related Projects will add value to the post.
∎ Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
∎ Working experience in coastal areas, particularly in the southwest of Bangladesh.
Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
