∎ Helvetas Bangladesh is looking for a qualified and experienced MEAL Coordinator for Dhaka based and or field based Programme Offices. This position will directly report to the Project Manager and responsible to ensure day to day operations related to project monitoring, evaluation, learning and knowledge management.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Development and implementation of the Monitoring and Result Measurement System capturing the outputs, outcomes and impact of the project in collaboration with national partner organizations.
∎ Development and introduction of project tracking guidelines, tools and techniques to capture project data for baseline assessment, monitoring, reporting and steering and learning.
∎ Development and implementation of a Learning and Knowledge Management System for the project.
∎ Capacity building of partner organizations in MRM system and development of MRM plans, data collection tools and procedures, data processing, and reporting.
∎ Coordination of regular reviews of progress towards targets inscribed in the logical framework.
∎ Development of a database development and management.
∎ Facilitation of development of baseline/end-line surveys and review designs and impact assessment studies.
∎ Analysis and documentation of data/information for progress reporting and strategic project steering.
∎ Facilitation of learning and reflection with and among partner organization.
∎ Documentation of experience and learning and sharing with relevant stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years of experience in the relevant field and 3 years experience in skill development projects with reputed national and international NGOs.
∎ Having work experience with the projects funded by large donors such as DFID, EU, GAC, GiZ, ILO, USAID, and Government funding.
∎ Working experience with projects funded by USAID will be given preference in selection.
∎ Independently develop and implement the different monitoring and evaluation tools/ framework.
∎ Skills on operating MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, KOBO, ODK or others
∎ Able to conduct project baseline and end survey.
∎ Good knowledge and experience on data management and report writing.
∎ Good communication, facilitation, organizing and report writing skills.
∎ Strong analytical, facilitation and team building skills;
∎ Fluent in English both written and spoken, should be able to demonstrate his/her ability to translate complicated ideas into language easily understood by others.

Salary:
∎ The initial employment contract would be for 35 months which will include annual performance appraisal and renew of employment contract on annual basis. The gross salary for the position is BDT. 160,000 including all benefits (PF, Gratuity, Festival Bonus, Insurance and others as per HR policy) depending on the total length of experience in related skill development activity. The duration of contract is extendable based on fund availability and individual performance of the staff.
