Educational Requirements:
∎ Higher education in DRR, Social Science, International development/studies, Programme Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in developing and monitoring the overall monitoring and result measurement (MRM) system and sub-system in a participatory way.
∎ Develop necessary format and tools for GiZ - DRR project to run project smoothly.
∎ Select/develop process, tools (including mobile base monitoring tools) and techniques for capturing information on project impacts, outcomes, outputs, process and lessons learned.
∎ Carry out data quality assessment regularly for MEAL data based on agreed indicators to guide decision making.
∎ Develop quarterly, annual, and other event reports including case incidence, best practices and process documentation that capture outcome of the project based on analysis.
∎ Identify project needs and develop a detailed timeline for completion.
∎ Keep track of a project's progress and ensure its completion before the deadline.
∎ Monitor expenditures and create detailed reports for concern stakeholders.
∎ Develops and implements project with partner at the field level to ensure the smooth implementation of the project activity.
∎ Conduct necessary assessment and survey which required for project activities in the field.
∎ Support in data collection and Analysis.
∎ Organise necessary impact study and evaluation in the field with project team.
∎ Capacity building and awareness raising activities (multi-hazard disaster preparedness particularly firefighting and food) of the community.
∎ Capacity building of the CPP volunteers and stakeholders on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
∎ Implement small scale mitigation measures as identified in community risk assessment.
∎ Coordinate a project management team and delegate tasks.
∎ Liaison with other implementing partners, CiCs, RRRC, DC, UNO, relevant stakeholders and share the project progress.
∎ Represent the organization at different platforms e.g sectors, coordination meetings.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Min 3 years' plus experience working in M&E department and in Humanitarian Context.
∎ Strong background in program Management and M&E sector.
∎ Experience working in partnership with local organizations is desirable.
∎ Knowledge of Program Management.
∎ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently in high-stress environment.
∎ Excellent time management skills, resourcefulness, with strong attention to detail.
∎ Fluent in English, Bengali native speaker.
∎ Excel, word and financial management software.
∎ Advanced communication, mediation.
∎ Team work approach.
Salary:
∎ We will offer one year contract with a very competitive salary (range BDT. 70000/- to 90000/-) based on the length of relevant experiences. The salary offer will includes Monthly Gross, Festival bonus, PF, Gratuity, Medical and Life Insurance.
