Job Context:
∎ The Shishuder Jonno program has developed the `e-Primary and e-Monitoring School System` software in collaboration with the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE). To work in this team, Save the Children invites applications for the above-mentioned position. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Job Responsibilities:
∎ The MIS Officer - ICT4D is responsible to provide support to modify the need-based e-Primary and e-Monitoring school system in collaboration with DPE Officials and provide orientation support on e-Primary and e-Monitoring school system for SCI, PNGO staffs and School Teachers.
∎ S/he will also be responsible to create a transparent and efficient web-based data management for decision making, tracking the performances of students and teachers throughout their primary school cycle in SJ Impact Areas.
∎ S/he will develop implementation plan aligned with project design and approach with SJ team and provide support in making plan for introducing new ICT components, School App innovation and tools in schools.
∎ The MIS Officer will provide supports in upgradation of the tab-based e-monitoring system, regular troubleshooting, data validation, and extract data from e-Primary and e-Monitoring Dashboard in collaboration and requirement with Govt. DPE.
∎ S/he will be responsible for ensuring sound technical environment in the ICT schools, and other ICT activities as per SJ program need and also track progress of the planned activities in accordance with program design.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years of experience in software development/ software project operation.
∎ Sound knowledge about data management system and solve challenges (MIS)
∎ Adequate knowledge of training module preparation, facilitation, Troubleshooting, bug fixing, documentation and reporting.
∎ High proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, XHTML, JavaScript. AJAX
∎ Proficiency with Oracle & MS SQL Database, android application development, Crystal Reports, Active Report design, Agile technology (e.g., Scrum)
∎ Having keen interest in major Web trends and issues
∎ Good writing skills particularly in English and Bangla.
∎ Excellent knowledge in GIS & real time location integration
∎ Proficiency in software prototyping (Adobe XD, Wireframe, Mockup)
