∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Good hand on Costing, Good Communication Skill (Bangla and English), Leadership and team work with Merchandising, MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ One Note, SCM, Sourcing and Procurement.
∎ Strong knowledge of global fashion trends and market demands related to knit categories.
∎ Must have good idea about Fabric, Trims, Print, Embroidery, Sampling, Booking, Production and Quality.
∎ Ability to communicate verbally and in in writing with customer & factory in English & Bengali both.
∎ Ability to execute CM based & FOB order from different global marketplace.
∎ Ability to follow up orders individually from PO receiving to garments shipment.
∎ Ability to coordinate with Technical & QA team.
∎ Ability to prepare and understand T&A and to follow up in execution accordingly.
∎ Ability to visit factory frequently during production execution.
∎ Ability to perform any task assigned by the management.
∎ To handle independently buyer's accounts from costing /quotation to shipment.
∎ To prepare a cost sheet for each product or item, review the production tech pack, identify the new materials, clarify the discrepancy, and arrange missing color standards for each key account as per requirement.
∎ Facilitate order pursuits and prepare development sample costing sheets. Understand and follow customer procedures for order fulfilment.
∎ Communicate with suppliers for raw materials, booking, and delivery.
∎ Ability to source new products and deliver the right products at the right price.
∎ Liaison with the commercial team about shipping documents, undertaking all formalities, and updating buyers.
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the Management.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure smooth communications with customers and suppliers on day-to-day merchandising activities and approvals.
∎ Continuously update the fabrics, trims, print embroideries, washes and stitch library including technical data and price idea for easy reference.
∎ Responsible for overseeing and sourcing fabric and trims. Collaborate with the design team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality samples that meet customer expectations.
∎ Oversee production processes and sample coordination with factories, ensuring all related procedures are followed efficiently.
∎ Create detailed costing sheets with comprehensive breakdowns obtained from factories.
∎ Partner with fabric mills and suppliers to develop innovative fabrics and finishes ahead of design packs, minimizing lead times.
∎ Conduct regular factory visits to gather market insights and stay informed about industry trends.
∎ Work alongside quality control teams to ensure products meet required standards. Manage forwarder bookings through logistics teams and oversee product shipments to ensure smooth delivery.
∎ Promote and adhere to ethical conduct and business practices, ensuring personal actions and those of others align with the organization’s values.
∎ Act as a bridge between the production and quality departments, collaborating closely with the Quality Assurance Officers to ensure the highest standards in the final product while overseeing all quality aspects from the beginning to the completion of production
