Experience:

• At least 5 years

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years

• Sound knowledge of all types of yarn, fabric, garments, accessories, print, embroidery, washing, and other applications and processes..

• Strong understanding of production timelines, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Time & Action (T&A) plans, with experience in production management and follow-up.

• Experience working with factories, suppliers, and vendors.

• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and other garment-related materials.

• Strong communication skills, fluent in both Bengali and English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, especially Excel and Sheets

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail, with proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Familiarity with inventory management, quality control processes, and export/shipment procedures.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to oversee production processes, coordinate with factories, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily operational activities with the merchandising team, managing deadlines for raw materials, sample development, production, and deliveries.

• Manage the end-to-end merchandising process from concept to production, collaborating with design, development, production, and sourcing teams to maintain the highest quality standards.

• Assume ownership of order handling from development to shipment, ensuring seamless execution.

• Ensure the Bill of Materials (BOM) and CM Price are confirmed with the factory.

• Create and maintain the Purchase Order (PO) documents.

• Regularly follow up on the Time and Action (T&A) plan to ensure timely delivery with the correct quality and quantity.

• Arrange all required materials to meet production needs.

• Ensure the Marketing Samples are prepared and delivered on time.

• Accurately prepare and finalize trim cards.

• Closely monitor the sampling approval process and arrange the Pre-Production (PP) sample on time for production go-ahead.

• Ensure all required materials are available in-house on time for production, according to the T&A plan.

• Collect inventory reports from the store as needed.

• Regularly update the factory’s production and issue status reports.

• Send the necessary materials (such as trims and fabric) to the factory on time.

• Regularly coordinate with the QC team to ensure the correct quality standards are met.

• Confirm smooth and on-time shipments from the factory.

• If delivery is delayed or quality issues arise, consult with the department head or line manager to make appropriate decisions.
