Experience:

• 5 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

• Bachelor/Honors

• Minimum bachelor’s Degree form any reputed university.

• BSc in Textiles will be an added advantage.

• 5 to 10 years

• Age 35 to 40 years
• Only Male

• Strong knowledge on Knit fabric and yarn & dyeing is required.

• Knowledge on knit fabrics gauge and construction is a must.

• Must have global sourcing experience from different countries.

• Good Knowledge & Skill in MS Office.

• Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time frame.

• Ability to effectively communicate and correspond with the concern department and external suppliers.

• Fabric sourcing & price negotiation with suppliers.

• Technical Knowledge on knit fabrics and yarn & dyeing.

• In some cases determination of Fabric costing against Order.

• Engage with Fabric Development for fabrics to exhibit.

• Fabric properties and testing knowledge is also required.

• Dealing with fabric supplier related to different issues like Quality, quantity, delivery, price and others parameters.

• Study market trends, latest finishes and fabric developments.

• Sourcing yarn and get knitting & dyeing done in compliance with set parameters.

• Work with raw materials, garments and value added suppliers and visiting them ahead of season to collect and up to date new fabrics, embellishments, finishes, garments.

• Understand all elements of tech packs, costing and challenge your supply base to improve them through product capability improvements, efficiency and process saving.

• Understand the economic environment of Bangladesh and any influencing factors on cost.

• Contribute to the Central Sourcing costing initiatives in the timelines set.
