• Minimum 10 years in MEP design (HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Electrical).
• Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit MEP for design and modelling.
• Use Dialux/Relux for lighting design and Amtech/ ProDesign/ Hevacomp for calculations.
• Software Skills: Carrier HAP, ASHRAE Climate Data, Duct Sizer, ASHRAE Psychometry, Pipe sizer, BOQ Excel Program, Pump Excel Program, Diakin VRV
• Knowledge of electrical codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainable design practices.
• Experience in construction, commissioning, operation & troubleshooting.
• Candidates with overseas experience (Gulf / USA / Canada / International consulting companies) will be considered an asset.
• Proficiency in: Revit, AutoCAD 2D/3D, Navisworks, SolidWorks, Elite Fire, HAP.
• Strong knowledge of design codes such as NFPA, IPC, IBC, BNBC.
• Good understanding of materials, MEP layouts, drafting standards, and engineering detailing.
• Excel skills will be considered an asset.

Key Job Responsibilities

HVAC

• Develop HVAC system layouts, Cooling & Heating load calculations, and system sizing using industry standards.

• Prepare design drawings, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications. Review shop drawings, technical submittals, method statements, material approvals.

• Select appropriate HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, ducts, etc.) based on design requirements.

FIRE

• Design fire protection system

• Expertise on hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing.

• Develop layouts for Sprinklers, Standpipes, Fire Pumps, Hose Reels, Foam/CO₂ Systems, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications.

• Perform pressure tests, pump performance tests, and system functionality checks.

• Interface with statutory bodies (Civil Defense) for approvals.

PLUMBING

• Deep understanding of local, state, national, and international plumbing codes and standards (IPC, ASHRAE, UPC standards) to ensure compliance and safety.

• Expertise on sizing calculation of pipe, pumps as per IPC, ASHRAE & UPC. 

• Knowledge of appropriate materials, fixtures, and equipment (pumps, booster systems, water heaters, filtration) based on performance, cost, and energy efficiency.

• Ability to incorporate green plumbing technologies and sustainable practices, such as rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling systems, and low-flow fixtures, to meet modern environmental standards.

ELECTRICAL

• Strong understanding of LV power distribution, lighting, small power, alarms & security systems.

• Create technical drawings, diagrams, load calculations.

• Software Skills: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech

DRAFTING

• Fluent in MEP engineering drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit, Navisworks, SolidWorks.

• Create drawings for PFD, P&ID, ISOMETRICS, TIE-POINT List/Schedule, BOQ, MTO, PIPING/EQUIPMENT LAYOUT etc.

• Work closely with engineers and project managers.

• Ensure drawings follow standards, codes, and project specifications.
