∎ Working closely with Mentoring & Supportive Supervision Manager, provide technical support and assist in direction to project on family planning focusing on Mentoring and Supportive Supervision. Collaborates with project team on project activities that have a combined program focus. Collaborates with other members of the project team to ensure that deliverables meet the needs of intended populations. Coordinates with NIPORT, DGFP, DGHS, DGNM and other relevant stakeholders on the development and implementation of integrated mentorship and supervision. Assesses technical and training needs, reviews and adapts training materials, and contributes to scaling up successful experiences in implementing best practices in mentoring and supervision in both clinical and community settings that lead to increased use of family planning services.
∎ The position is assigned to Pathfinder`s Accelerating Universal Access to Family Planning (AUAFP) project in Bangladesh. AUAFP is a five year multi-million dollar project funded by USAID. The project aims to strengthen and expand access to quality family planning services through a collaborative health system capacity building partnership with the government of Bangladesh, specifically through a flexible implementation model led in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, including Directorate General of Family Planning, Directorate General of Health Services and National Institute of Population Research and Training.
∎ The AUAFP project is scheduled to end in July 2023 with a possibility of 06 months extension.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years' experience in working in health and family planning, preferably in implementing programs Bangladesh
∎ Technical expertise in Mentoring and Supportive Supervision as well as Family Planning services
∎ Prefer: Experience with USAID-funded projects. Familiarity with US Government regulations and legislative and policy requirements for family planning, reproductive health, and environmental compliance
∎ Other Information: Travel required
∎ Must be willing to travel in public transport
