Experience Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide eye care treatment, refraction, and different investigation of eye diseases.
∎ Perform vision tests and analyze results and to diagnose patient's sight problems
∎ Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
∎ Screening & identified the patient require for Eye Surgery.
∎ Provide pre- and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery during eye campaign at Kuakata clinic
∎ Prepare monthly requisition of medicine, consumable items, and stationery items, etc. in consultation with MO and submit to him.
∎ Maintain of medicine and a general stock register
∎ Coordinate with GoB/NGO level as per consultation with MO.
∎ Keep a record, patient file during the Campaign.
∎ Supervise BCC mobilization, patient collection during the Campaign.
∎ The preparer of the monthly report, stock balance, expired date of medicine in consultation with MO, and submit to the Head Office.
∎ Assist in the arrangement of referred patient transfer and doing all the necessary things for the patients.
∎ Maintain the cleanliness of the Eye Unit regularly
∎ Perform other related duties assigned by hospital management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have to stay at Mongla.
∎ Should have the capability of interpersonal communication skills.
∎ Strong client orientation and service approach with personal commitment.
∎ Previous experience in working in the char or island areas and knowledge of local languages will be a definite advantage.
