Akij Ceramics Limited (Akij Bashir Group) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Medical Officer (Factory, Trishal) to oversee all medical, occupational health, and emergency healthcare services at the factory. The incumbent will ensure timely medical treatment for employees, maintain workplace health and safety standards, manage the factory medical center, coordinate emergency response activities, and promote employee well-being through preventive healthcare initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise medical department staff, which includes teaching them treatment guidelines, safety standards, evaluating and optimizing the care management approach, the process of disease management, and regular assessment.
2. Manage emergency and treatment of employees and family with dedicated care.
3. Review the medicine consumption report daily to assess the rational use of medicine according to guidelines and also review the medical indent for balancing the budget and medical stock.
4. Lead the patient referral system in case of severe illness and accident.
5. Evaluate the sterilization process in case of surgical procedures to see whether it meets the standard quality.
6. Issue medical certificate, verify and endorse medical bill according to the medical condition and policy. Lead continuous medical education program for medical staff regarding treatment, tools of diagnosis, and medicine issue process for patient satisfaction with utmost care.
7. Analyze medical report of current services and plan how to provide better services with available resources in a cost-effective manner.
