Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations to assess the health status of employees;
∎ Diagnose and treat common illnesses and workplace injuries and provide appropriate medical interventions and prescriptions;
∎ Handle workplace medical emergencies efficiently, ensuring prompt and effective medical responses;
∎ Collaborate with external healthcare professionals and specialists for referrals, consultations and further investigations when necessary;
∎ Implement preventive health measures, including first aid training, vaccination drives and health awareness campaigns;
∎ Provide individual and group health education and counselling on topics such as nutrition, disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices;
∎ Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records while ensuring strict confidentiality of employee health information;
∎ Oversee the workplace medical pharmacy, including medicine requisition, inventory management and preparation of monthly sales and stock reports.
