Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
∎ BSc/MSc Pharmacy / MATS,
∎ Good professional knowledge on medication storage, medical equipment maintenance & inventory management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Primary Responsibilities:
∎
∎ Plan and organize medical logistics activities including medical warehouse/stock management ensuring adherence to GH/CPI policies, regulations and standards to provide a high quality, efficient and cost-effective medical logistics service
∎ Be accountable for receiving, checking and monitoring medical supplies including equipment ensuring that quality of supplies is maintained throughout the inventory management process i.e. ordering, receiving, handling, storing and distribution (or dispatch) in compliance with GH/CPI and local regulations
∎ Maintain medical supplies movement record and ensure optimal rotation of shelf-life sensitive medical supplies to minimize wastage and to minimize the risk of out-of-date materials arriving onsite
∎ Ensure disposal of medicines and other medical supplies is carried out in compliance with GH/CPI policies and local regulations
∎ Provide medical logistics advice and technical support to Health program staff members
∎ Provide support and training to relevant staff members to improve the quality of medical logistics service provisions and promote adherence to best practice principles and compliance with necessary regulations
∎ Liaise with relevant team members to enable a more efficient medical logistics service delivery
∎ Maintain accurate records relating to the costs associated with all aspects of the provision of this service and report/communicate all relevant information in a timely manner to enable full cost recovery to be achieved
∎ Support CXB office in managing, evaluating and reporting upon medical logistics and stock which meet delivery and quality targets
∎ Understand priorities in supply chain and ensure that urgent items are delivered at the right time to the respective areas
∎ Work with suppliers to ensure appropriate response times are maintained
∎ Ensure high quality suppliers and managing contracts
∎ Understand quality issues in medical and non medical supplies and ensure that uniform quality is maintained across respective areas
∎ Ensure regular equipment maintenance as well as repairs and replacement as needed
∎ Maximize opportunities for value for money by combining delivery trips
∎ Maintain health post staff asset tracker
∎ Maintain clear records of all medical logistics related information
∎ Responsible for collecting verbal and written quotations from vendors on medical supplies, equipment etc.
∎ Prepare good received note, purchase orders, top sheets, inventory requisition forms, and CBA
∎ Support the transport of medical equipment & supplies from vendors to the office storage room
∎ Maintain inventory of supplies in relevant locations, verify supply requisitions & indent forms, transport supplies from office storage to health post/field office
∎ Maintain records regularly of inventory in electronic and paper-based formats
∎ Ensure environmental control of storage rooms in Cox Bazar office, field office, health post etc.
∎ Ensuring adequate stock of stationery items, training supplies, print materials, electronic assets etc.
∎ Responsible for field office and health post maintenance including IT Equipment, power, furniture, environmental control and other logistics
∎
∎ Other Responsibilities:
∎
∎ Identify vendors for supplies procurement
∎ Ensure field office, health post storage and office storage are properly stocked with environmental control measures (Temperature, ventilation etc)
∎ Ensure field & health post store keeper, inventory assistants maintain clear & verified records
∎ Ensure health program offices are adequately stocked with logistics, visibility items, environment & safety control
∎ Prepare Purchase Request forms, Good received notes are completely signed with accurate coding and supported with all necessary documents
∎ Prepare cash advance and after purchasing the items prepare a cash expense statement with proper supporting documents
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in Logistics, Warehouse & Inventory management is preferred.
∎ Experience in procurement is preferred.
∎ Essential computer literacy (word, excel, powerpoint and internet)
∎ G suite and online communication.
