Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Interpreter and Translator, SRHR
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
NGO
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Aware medical staff of important cultural nuances to keep in mind during a meeting, medical consultation, or interview with locals;
∎ Participate as an interpreter in staff training and meetings;
∎ When necessary, provide face-to-face interpreting as well as interpreting during online and telephone calls or other telecom devices;
∎ Use appropriate language registry as well as diplomatic and courtesy manners to adapt communication to any situation;
∎ Assist with the translation of MSF internal and external documents into the local language (s);
∎ When interacting with patients or local visitors, assist the expat team with translation. Inform international staff about local customs and traditions, as this will help them understand the context and communicate more effectively;
∎ Maintain a record of all translated documents;
∎ Maintain all stationery and forms required in the facility, such as MSF guidelines or other books;
∎ Maintain medical confidentiality and secrecy.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply as we will specifically need one female interpreter for midwife department. Another interpreter could be either male or female.
∎ Language proficiency: Bengali, English and Chittagonian/ Rohingya dialect is essential.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 37020 (Monthly)
∎ Salary is not negotiable.
The mentioned amount of salary is before income tax deduction and without seniority.
Compensation & Other Benefits:

∎ 2 annual leave days per month worked.
