Educational Requirements:
∎ Essential secondary education, university degree desirable.
∎ Health knowledge is advisable.
∎ Skills Required: Commitment, Flexibility and Adaptability, Internet, MS Office skills, Stress Management, Teamwork and collaboration

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Interpreter and Translator, SRHR
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Inform medical staff about important cultural nuances to consider during a meeting, medical consultation or interview with local people.
∎ Participate in staff trainings and meetings as an interpreter.
∎ Provide face to face interpreting, as well as during telephone and radio calls or other telecom devices, when necessary.
∎ Adapt communication to any circumstances, using appropriate language registry as well as diplomatic and courtesy manners.
∎ Translate MSF internal / external documents into local language(s).
∎ Keep record of all translated documents.
∎ Look after all equipment provided, i.e. dictionaries or other books that belong to MSF
∎ Ensure confidentiality and medical secrecy.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Only potential female candidates will be shortlisted as this position will require to work in the maternity department.
∎ Language proficiency: Bengali, English and Chittagonian/ Rohingya dialect is essential.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 37020 (Monthly)
∎ Salary is not negotiable. The mentioned amount of salary is before income tax deduction and without seniority.

∎ 2 annual leave days per month worked.
