Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical Faculty (DMF) from any government recognized institute
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performing administrative duties, such as keeping records and managing inventory
∎ Preparing patients for vision examinations, such as administering eye drops and seating patients at eye-testing machines
∎ Assisting with vision examinations, such as performing depth and color perception tests and taking visual acuity measurements
∎ Working with patients in vision therapy, and educating patients on the proper eye
∎ Administer topical ophthalmic or oral medications under the direction of the doctor
∎ Screening patient for cataract surgery
∎ Assists with health facility procedures ensuring proper informed consent is obtained, sets up and cleans up from procedures
∎ Assists with patient education
∎ Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of exam rooms during the work day
∎ Complies with all practice procedures and protocols
∎ Understands and accepts responsibility to report potential or suspected errors to supervisor
∎ Maintains positive attitude consisting of cooperation, self-motivation, courtesy, and professionalism.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Working experience with NGOs/GoB/Private hospital providing primary health care services, have IMCI, ORH and training on infection prevention will be preferred.
∎ Working experience in the riverine area will be considered as additional advantage.
