Job Responsibilities:
∎ Role purpose:
∎ The role holder will support Christian Aid's response to the humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh with special focuses on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning sector interventions. S/he will support Christian Aid's funded programmes which are implemented by Christian Aid and it partners in Cox's Bazar and any other programme area assigned by management. The role holder will assist in the implementation of MEAL Strategy and Plan in Rohingya Refuse Crisis Response Programme in Cox's Bazar. The role holder will conduct participatory monitoring activities with partners. Ensure the high quality and the accurance of data collection (using hard and softwrd tools). Analyse the information and timely reporting on line with project and sectoral activities timeline. Provide regular feedback on monitoring, accountability and learning observations and findings. Provide technical guidance while overseeing MEAL activities at field level
∎ Key outcomes:
∎ Captured and provided required evidence for project proposals development.
∎ Updated on programme delivery through regular monitoring visit.
∎ Drafted monitoring report with recommendation for improvement.
∎ Led case study collection from the field and drafted those case studies.
∎ Different databases efficiently maintained and updated.
∎ Strong linkages between partner work & CA MEAL team developed through positive relations.
∎ Provided support to partners regularly.
∎ Partner and beneficiary engagement successfully facilitated.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Essential:
∎ 4-5-year experience of working in humanitarian response with local and/international partner organizations.
∎ Strong positive attitude and ability to manage a wide range of issues of complicated procedures, indicated by 4-5 years learning period.
∎ Desirable She/he is having at least a 5 years humanitarian response experience in MEAL programming. Familiar MEAL context in Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Excellent verbal and written fluency in English and Bangla
∎ Desirable:
∎ Understanding on emergency response program, preferably in Bangladesh.
∎ Relevant experience in managing of institutional donor funded progrmmes (IOM/EC/ DFID etc)
