Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role holder will support Christian Aid's response to the humanitarian crisis in Bangladesh with special focuses on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning sector interventions. S/he will support Christian Aid's funded programmes which are implemented by Christian Aid and it partners in Cox's Bazar and others programme area. The role holder will assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of Christian Aid's MEAL & humanitarian response, providing effective and timely support (including capacity building) to liberated communities and partner organizations, enabling them to implement the rapid, effective and principled MEAL response to emergencies, and ensuring that this is in line with Christian Aid's country strategy and Humanitarian Standards. The role holder will be representing CAID in sector working groups meetings/activities and engage in the right networks, while increasing the profile of CA Humanitarian and resilience work and its visibility in the region.
∎ You develop the MEAL framework for the project. You will ensure MEAL requirements of the WFP funded DRR/WB project are met with highest quality. You will timely execution of baseline end line studies, PDM studies and developing high standard report. You will regular consolidation of project participant/ beneficiary disaggregated data and feed back in to larger response database. You will support the project lead in developing timely project reports. You will concurrent monitoring of the project activities and provide feedback to the management on any corrective measures.

Additional Requirements:
∎ We are seeking to recruit a M&E professional to the role of MEAL Support Officer to support WFP project to enable the country team to M&E plans and process.
∎ 4-5 years' experience of working in humanitarian response with local and/international partner organizations. You should have strong positive attitude and ability to manage a wide range of issues of complicated procedures, indicated by 4-5 years learning period. You should have at least a 5 years humanitarian response experience in MEAL programming. Familiar MEAL context in Bangladesh. You will also have excellent communication skills and excellent verbal and written fluency in English and Bangla
