Job Responsibilities:
∎ Role purpose:
∎ The role holder will support Christian Aid's (CA) disaster preparedness and resilience program with a special focus on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning sector interventions. Under DEEPER project, the role holder is expected to support policy advocacy and communication activities to achieve its goal. Within the disaster preparedness and resilience family, the role holder will support DEEPER's project activities thus contributing to achieve CA's Humanitarian objectives.
∎ Key outcomes:
∎ Ensure quality programme delivery through regular monitoring visit and other necessary actions.
∎ Establish strong linkages with government, non-government, civil society, volunteers' organizations, private sector and other national and local level project stakeholders.
∎ Communicate and liaison with the above-mentioned project stakeholders as per requirement with a special focus on private sector partners.
∎ Take part in capacity building initiatives on different issues (i.e. disaster risk reduction, gender and inclusion, private sector's role in disaster preparedness planning) if required.
∎ Communicate and coordinate with consortium partners as per need.
∎ Support and contribute to CA's policy advocacy initiatives.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Essential:
∎ 4-5-year working experience with local, national and/international organizations.
∎ Proven working experiences with private sector.
∎ Desirable s/he is having at least 5 years of experience in communication and advocacy. Familiar with disaster context in Bangladesh.
∎ Excellent communication and liaison skills.
∎ Excellent verbal and written fluency in English and Bangla.
∎ Desirable:
∎ Understanding on disaster preparedness program, preferably in Bangladesh.
∎ Relevant experience in managing of institutional donor funded progrmmes (ECHO, EU, etc)

Salary:
∎ T9,42,057 gross per annum
