Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS completed any reputed medical institute. Must have registration from Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC)
∎ Masters in Public Health (MPH)

Job Context:
∎ Research, Training and Management (RTM) International NGO working in the Cox`s Bazar and Bhasanchar to implement different projects supported by Government of Bangladesh, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF and others development partners. To provide Sexual and Reproductive health services in different locations, RTM requires to fill up vacancy of Maternal Health Coordination Officer.
∎ Employment requirement and areas
∎ RTM international requires Maternal Health Coordination Officer as a focal point for Maternal and Perinatal Mortality Surveillance and Response (MPMSR) system
∎ Candidates with knowledge and skills in SRH, Health sector working group and Rohingya emergency response work experience will be preferred.
∎ Candidate with higher degree and experience in relevant disciplines may apply for higher position.
∎ Job Location: Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazila of Cox`s bazar.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work as a focal point for Maternal and Perinatal Mortality Surveillance and Response (MPMSR) system, and the MPMSR committee under the technical guidance of the in the Rohingya Refugee Response
∎ Liaising with all the partners of the SRH-WG and Health sector in order to ensure implementation of the MPMSR system in the Rohingya Refugee Response.
∎ Coordinate the activities of the MPMSR committee with all the partners of the SRH-WG
∎ Ensure timely facilitation of facility based maternal death reviews in the SRH facilities in Camp, field hospitals and other facilities in response to the notified facility deaths as per guidelines of the MPMSR committee
∎ Maintenance of the information management system for maternal & neonatal death reviews and community WRA mortality surveillance
∎ Utilize the mortality data for improvement of maternal land neonatal health and reduce deaths in Rohingya community.
∎ Perform data analysis and reports to highlights the findings of the maternal death reviews and WRA mortality surveillance on quarterly basis.
∎ Dissemination of results, recommendations and responses to transform the research into action and sustain the surveillance system.
∎ Contribute and support in the development of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for MPMSR system.
∎ Coordinate capacity building and training sessions for MPMSR activities
∎ Any other responsibilities given by Project Manager and SRH WG.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2-year experience in the related field-
∎ The following capabilities are mandatory:
∎ Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Report.
∎ Good communication skills in both English and Bangla
