We are looking for a proactive Marketplace Sales Specialist to generate leads and acquire clients through platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and other online channels. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities, submit proposals, communicate with prospects, and help grow our remote software engineering and staff augmentation business.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue relevant projects on Upwork, Fiverr, and other freelance platforms.
Prepare and submit high-quality proposals tailored to client requirements.
Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn and outbound outreach.
Schedule meetings and coordinate with the technical team during client discussions.
Build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
Follow up on proposals and sales opportunities.
Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates.
Achieve monthly lead generation and client acquisition targets.
Research market trends, competitors, and client needs in the software development industry.
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in Upwork bidding, Fiverr, or B2B sales.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience in lead generation and client outreach.
Understanding of software development services and staff augmentation models.
Ability to write persuasive proposals and sales messages.
Self-motivated with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualification
Previous experience selling software development, web development, mobile app development, AI, SEO, or staff augmentation services.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Apollo, or similar tools.
Proven track record of winning projects on Upwork or Fiver
