Responsibilities & Context:

Purchase of Paddy and Sales of Rice – Job Responsibilities

1. Market Development

   • Identify and develop new customers such as rice mills, wholesalers, retailers, and distributors

   • Expand sales network in assigned territories (rural & urban markets)

2. Sales & Target Achievement

   • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets for paddy and rice

   • Promote different rice varieties (e.g., Miniket, Nazirshail, Basmati, etc.)

3. Customer Relationship Management

   • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients

   • Regularly visit markets, dealers, and mills to ensure customer satisfaction

4. Procurement Support (Paddy)

   • Coordinate with farmers and suppliers for paddy sourcing

   • Monitor quality, pricing, and availability of paddy in local markets

5. Market Analysis

   • Collect market information (price trends, competitor activity, demand)

   • Report daily/weekly updates to management

6. Order & Payment Handling

   • Take orders from customers and ensure timely delivery

   • Follow up on payments and maintain accurate records

7. Product Promotion

   • Conduct promotional activities in local markets

   • Educate customers about product quality and benefits

8. Stock & Supply Coordination

   • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics team

   • Ensure proper stock availability and smooth distribution

9. Reporting & Documentation

   • Maintain sales reports, customer databases, and visit logs

   • Submit regular performance reports to the supervisor.

10. Travel & Field Work

• Travel frequently to different markets, rice mills, and rural areas

• Monitor field-level operations and sales performance
