Experience:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Maritime/Logistics Management, Finance, or a relevant field from a reputed university.

• At least 15 years

• Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the Shipping, Logistics, or Maritime industry, with at least 5 years in a Senior Management or Country Head role with full P&L accountability. Proven experience in navigating the regulatory environment in Bangladesh is highly desirable.

Job Context - Everglory Lines PLC is seeking a highly strategic, results-oriented, and experienced leader to assume the role of Managing Director and Country Head for our operations in Bangladesh. This executive position is responsible for the full P&L oversight, strategic direction, operational excellence, and long-term profitable growth of the company within the country. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to all local regulatory requirements and uphold the company's reputation and integrity in the market

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute the country strategy in alignment with the Everglory Group's global objectives, driving market share expansion and revenue growth.
• P&L Management: Full responsibility for the financial performance of the Bangladesh entity, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving profitability targets.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all operations, reporting, and statutory obligations are strictly compliant with local laws, BIDA rules, and internal governance standards.
• Stakeholder Relations:
• Maintain and strengthen high-level relationships with governmental bodies, BIDA, customs authorities, port officials, key clients, and industry partners.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the country's operational efficiency, optimizing logistics, documentation, and service delivery standards.
• Team Development:
• Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing management team, fostering a culture of accountability, ethics, and professional development.
• Ethical Conduct:
• Strictly adhere to and enforce the company's policy against accepting or giving illicit benefits, ensuring all business dealings are conducted lawfully and transparently.
