Job Context:
Meghna Pulp and Paper Mills Ltd. (MPPML) one of the sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) which involves in producing Tissue, Paper and Stationaries products (e.g. Offset Paper, Industrial Paper, Pen, Pencil, Sharpener, Eraser, Scale, etc.). Currently, we are looking for proactive and skilled professionals in the mechanical department of MPPML. This position will be responsible for managing the electrical team and the incumbent will report to the functional head for the daily duties and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure efficiency and minimize downtime by maintaining and optimizing the electrical and instrumentation automation system in the paper production section.
Supervise the coordination of paper machine speed to enhance production precision and uphold quality standards.
Ensure the maintenance and calibration of Paper Machine QCS (Quality Control System) & DCS (Distribution Control System) for maximum system performance.
Supervise and code paper machine DC converters and frequency inverters for optimal energy utilization and seamless operations.
Regularly calibrate QCS & DCS instruments to improve machine precision and product quality.
Inspect and uphold the functionality of both AC and DC motors to guarantee dependability and avoid unexpected power failures.
Perform regular checks on industrial equipment and automated systems to detect potential problems and suggest appropriate solutions.
Plan and carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment and minimize unforeseen malfunctions.
Precisely record maintenance tasks and ensure adherence to safety and operational regulations.
Supervise the maintenance team to ensure efficient distribution of manpower and resources.
