Job Responsibilities:
∎ Tax Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
∎ Tax Planning: Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax implications for various business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives. Provide recommendations to senior management to optimize tax outcomes.
∎ Tax Compliance Management: Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including the preparation, review, and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to applicable tax laws.
∎ Reporting and Financial Analysis: Prepare and review tax provisions for financial reporting purposes, working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
∎ Audits and Inquiries: Serve as the main point of contact for tax authorities during audits and inquiries, ensuring all required documentation and responses are provided promptly and accurately.
∎ Tax Research: Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulings and assess their impact on the organization. Provide recommendations and guidance on tax compliance and planning accordingly.
∎ Tax Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve tax-related processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
∎ Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure tax considerations are incorporated into business decisions. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior tax team members.
∎ Risk Management: Identify potential tax risks and implement measures to mitigate these risks effectively.
∎ Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to educate employees on relevant tax matters and ensure awareness of tax compliance policies and procedures.
∎ Add to Reporting and financial analysis point : Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices,
∎ Manage and coordinate tax audits,
∎ Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
∎ Communication: To communicate with government regulatory bodies / Tax consultants regarding tax-related issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 33 to 40 years
∎ Positive attitude.
∎ Good communication skills both in English & Bangle.
∎ Dynamic, hardworking & self-motivated with sound physical & mental health.
