Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of technical manuals including formulation of work instructions/ test certificates /reports, stickers/tags, forms, equipment manuals etc.
∎ Giving input in the preparation of the Quality Manual
∎ Selection of test methods
∎ Maintenance of reference standards of measurement
∎ Implementation of new methods and procedures and conduct of any necessary technical validations.
∎ Review of requests, tenders and contracts with customers.
∎ Acceptance of work for laboratory.
∎ Signing test reports in respect of items tested before delivery to the Lab Manager.
∎ Supervising the internal audits and external audits of the laboratory.
∎ Taking corrective actions in the case when any aspect of technical operations is found non-conforming to lab’s QMS or ISO 17025:2017.
∎ Identifying the training needs of the concerned staff working in his laboratory.
∎ Ensuring appropriate control of non-conforming data.
∎ Maintenance of equipment and their calibration update. Ensuring that data and other laboratory information are properly recorded.
∎ Handle specific buyer requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Graduation in Textile/Physics/Chemistry or any relevant subject.
∎ Minimum 7 years of experience in Textile Testing laboratory among which minimum 3 years of experience in ISO 17025 Accredited Laboratory.
∎ Participated in ISO 17025 Understanding Training organized by BAB is preferred.
∎ Awareness of different needs of different buyers.
