Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead technical development of men’s blazers, from sample stage to bulk production.
∎ Supervise pattern design, fitting, and garment construction techniques specific to structured items.
∎ Work closely with the sampling and merchandising teams to ensure design intent is maintained.
∎ Implement and oversee production SOPs, line balancing, and technical process optimization.
∎ Provide training and support to sewing operators and supervisors to maintain high-quality standards.
∎ Ensure compliance with buyer specifications and conduct pre-production and technical meetings.
∎ Coordinate with QA teams to resolve technical issues and maintain defect-free output.
∎ Introduce innovations in manufacturing techniques to improve quality and cost-efficiency.
∎ Plan, Execute and manage all the preproduction activity as per agreed timeline.
∎ Managing Pilot section, ensure on-time size set making & clearing out all the style discrepancy.
∎ Follow, record, control and ensure that there is enough preproduction lead time based on approved critical path through Critical path monitoring system.
∎ Organize, attend and manage all the preproduction related meetings (Pocket, and Post Changeover) to ensure all the clarification and agreement has been done.
∎ Managing STW team to function the STW system.
∎ Coordinate, attend and record the Risk assessment finding style wise with the proposed action plan.
∎ Analyze all the data related to pre-production & QCO, correlate and make report to concern everyone to improve.
∎ Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the apparel industry, and for developing and implementing new technologies and processes to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the factory.
∎ Able to quickly and effectively solve any problems that arise in the factory, such as technical issues with equipment or production processes, or staffing issues.
∎ This position will be responsible to lead the technical operations for men’s blazer production in our woven garments division. The ideal candidate need to have deep expertise in structured garments, especially men’s formalwear, and will be responsible for overseeing technical development and production efficiency.
