Additional Requirements:
- Age 35 to 45 years
- Only Male
- Sound knowledge & experience on shipping related documentation, lay time calculation, fixing agent, fuel management, International shipping laws and maritime clauses related to carriage of goods by sea act.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Responsible for maintaining on going mother vessel operation & oversee onboard vessel cargo discharging.
- Supervise lighter ships allocation, movement, loading activities, discharging from mother vessel at Chittagong & Mongla port and any other discharge point.
- Ensure for cargo discharging on board all types of equipment, sealing materials, excavator, stevedore, man power are prepared / available properly before vessel arrival at discharge port.
- Monitor the smooth discharging procedure with all mother vessel equipment like crane, cargo holds, vessel generator supply etc. are maintaining properly.
- Co-operate with master of the mother vessel and making proper plan regarding the discharging operation & reports accordingly.
- Maintaining daily discharging report, check DDR with stevedore supervisor, noted all breakdown, and put on DDR.
- Ensure every information are put on Final SOF before sailing the mother vessel.
- Ensure all safety measures of vessels and cargo operation.
- Any other shipping & logistics related tasks assigned by the Management.
