∎ Age 30 to 38 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain price trend and best possible strategy to mitigate price risk with help of derivatives tools for importing raw sugar and commodity products.
∎ To Develop trading and risk mitigating strategies out of emerging scenario.
∎ Ensure Inter-market arbitrage, commodity spread, and calendar spread strategies
∎ Structuring, trading and hedging in exchange as well as OTC traded Options contracts
∎ Maintain end to end supply chain management of refinery sugar in domestic market and Tracking supply-demand of different commodities.
∎ Keep watching on various factors affecting price (fundamental and technical analysis)
∎ Work with Finance and Commercial team in close collaboration in order to avail and ensure appropriate financing options including LCs, SBLC, Suppliers’ Credit or alternative or foreign financing in order to cope with challenging banking and business environment in Bangladesh.
∎ Negotiating with suppliers to work out the best financing and commercial terms so that vessel and company can avoid and minimize demurrage or detention or additional avoidable costs
∎ Plan, identify and implement new revenue and profit streams for the company via derivative trading, other commodity trading and JV or M&A opportunities for the company
∎ Guide and update the sales and business team to sell sugar at optimum price and question based on market intelligence report and timing
∎ Identifying new commodity suitable for trading in futures market
∎ Primary and secondary research related with the commodity thus identified
∎ Designing contract specification and getting it approved from regulator
∎ Conceptualized and initiated edible oil futures project and achieve a level of high traded volume of sugar commodity segment.
∎ Consulting to suppliers when they take position in sugar commodities.
∎ Monitoring margin, exposure and limit of clients (including clients deal through branches)
∎ Prepared trade reports (Fundamental and Technical) of Sugar-commodities
∎ Analyzing Government policies, decisions and its possible effects
∎ Track domestic and international markets including Futures market and forecasting of commodities and sugar market.
∎ Any other assignments given by the authority.
