Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, supervise and overall responsible for Sample Department.
∎ Ensure timely pattern or sample making with any software.
∎ Understand buyer concept and idea to develop new product.
∎ Develop, implement and monitor Sample design as per standards & procedures to meet buyer needs.
∎ Prepare the right sample at the right time to meet the buyer expectation;
∎ Ensure sample approval rate as per KPI;
∎ Design or direct pattern making manually and electronically.
∎ Supervise pattern correction and provide Technical Support where necessary during sample development & production;
∎ Ensuring cost reduction by reducing all kind of process loss & wastage like rejection;
∎ Responsible for pattern direction, fabric selection, proton and tech packs preparation as per instruction of buyers.
∎ Communicate and Coordinate with the associates (Sample making, Cutting, merchandisers, technicians, seniors) and suppliers to reach the best consumption with quality and efficiency;
∎ Support and advise the team to find the best solution to reduce fabric wastage and to achieve maximum fabric use;
∎ Digitizing the patterns (given by the pattern maker), carrying out alterations, adjustments, and grading as per instructions.
∎ Any other task assign by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have knowledge in Denim & sample making with any software;
∎ Sound knowledge in fabrics, accessories, trims, fashion trends, fashionable wash (if necessary), etc;
∎ Leadership Approach;
∎ Has to be up to date with the current trend of this industries;
∎ Strong creative vision;
∎ Applicant should be self -motivated & honest;
∎ Ability to handle the workload and manage multiple tasks at a time under stressed environment;
∎ Problem Solving skills and Analysis;
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with people.
