Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the paint industry.
∎ Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and gain a competitive edge.
∎ Develop sales plans, set targets, and create sales forecasts.
∎ Lead the sales team in executing strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
∎ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
∎ Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure high customer satisfaction.
∎ Develop and implement branding strategies to position products effectively in the market.
∎ Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that highlight product features and benefits.
∎ Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
∎ Set clear performance expectations, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews.
∎ Manage distribution channels, including dealers, retailers, and distributors.
∎ Implement channel strategies to optimize market coverage and increase product availability.
∎ Plan and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase products and network with potential customers and partners.
∎ Develop and implement pricing strategies based on market conditions, costs, and competitive positioning.
∎ Monitor and adjust pricing to maximize profitability and market share.
∎ Ensure that all sales and marketing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations in the paint industry.
