Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The position is responsible for strong leadership and technical expertise in synthetic knit fabric production. The candidate will oversee end-to-end operations, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cross-functional coordination.
∎ Independently manage and supervise production planning, development, maintenance, and quality control to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines.
∎ Strong technical knowledge in synthetic weft knitted fabric structures including Single Jersey, Interlock, Rib, and Jacquard on both single and double jersey machines.
∎ Demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills to manage factory operations and maintain effective communication across all levels.
∎ Ensure efficient, cost-effective production and quality processes within the department to maintain productivity and profitability.
∎ In-depth understanding of yarn and fabric technical parameters and updated knowledge of the latest knitting machines and technologies.
∎ Establish and implement a standardized Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure fabric quality as per buyer/customer standards.
∎ Collaborate closely with planning, production, and other departments to monitor production critical path and ensure on-time order execution.
∎ Identify and resolve day-to-day development, production, and quality-related issues through consultation with relevant stakeholders and senior management.
∎ Prepare and maintain comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports related to production, quality, customer feedback, and departmental performance.
∎ Assist the marketing team with fabric developments, provide FTD/FIS/hanger support, prepare process routes, analyze risks, and ensure all technical sign-offs before bulk production.
