• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in R&D within the Air Conditioner industry.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent/CFX, COMSOL, EES).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC industry standards, regulations (e.g., AHRI, ISO, BIS), and energy efficiency ratings.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing new AC products from concept to market.

Job Summary: We're seeking a dynamic and experienced R&D Manager to lead the research and development efforts for our Air Conditioner product line. The successful candidate will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept generation and design to prototyping, testing, and mass production. A deep and proven understanding of Cooling Design principles for air conditioners is an absolute must for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of R&D engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive the strategic direction of air conditioner product development, identifying market trends, technological advancements, and customer needs to define future product roadmaps.
• Oversee the complete design process for new AC products, ensuring optimal cooling performance, energy efficiency, and reliability.
• Develop and implement innovative cooling system designs, including refrigerant circuits, heat exchangers (evaporators, condensers), compressors, and airflow paths, to maximize efficiency and capacity.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and simulations (e.g., CFD, thermal modeling) to optimize cooling performance, airflow distribution, and thermal management.
• Manage the prototyping and testing phases, ensuring rigorous validation of design concepts, performance metrics, and reliability standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D center, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless product launch and continuous improvement.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and improve sustainability.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines (e.g., energy efficiency ratings, refrigerant regulations).
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve R&D objectives.
• Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
