∎ Minimum three years (03) of demonstrated experience in implementing complex international development projects.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ This position will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and managing overall project activities, coordination, and communication with relevant local government and other stakeholders to ensure operational effectiveness and compliant implementation of activities. This role will also provide a broad range of project management, operations, and technical support for the project.
∎ Providing overall managerial and technical leadership, and administrative oversight to achieve project outcomes.
∎ Overseeing and guiding effective local stakeholder engagement through on-ground activities and advocacy, while developing and updating project and work plans, budgets, and operational matrices with head office staff, and suggesting necessary changes for effective engagement.
∎ Monitoring progress against evaluation targets, taking corrective actions as needed, and planning meetings and workshops to maximize government, stakeholder, and community involvement in line with the engagement strategy.
∎ Overseeing the planning and administration of, and/or conducting special events such as behavior change interventions, campaigns, workshops, trainings, and other events.
∎ Coordinating and managing other internal partners, regularly communicating project progress to the project advisory body for business plan development.
∎ Acting as the project liaison for donors, government authorities, and stakeholders, actively engaging in government interactions, and providing analysis for periodic donor reports on program activities and implementation.
∎ Collaborating closely with the field operation team to stay informed and address complex or sensitive issues, troubleshooting, and determining the appropriate course of action.
∎ Ensuring compliance with donor policies, procedures, and guidance regarding the environment, gender, and safeguarding.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ In 2018–2022, UNICEF and BRAC co-designed and implemented various alternative learning programmes. The Alternative Learning Programme (ALP) through this partnership will leverage Informal apprenticeship (mostly in the informal economy and targeting the most vulnerable groups will be explored in formal sectors), Entrepreneurship (potential adolescent, youth and young women can learn, start and establish their business) and center-based skills training (training and linking with different training providers to job placement after completion of the training) for adolescent, youth and youth women. Moreover, it will build on the UN's “Leaving No One Behind” agenda by reaching most marginalised and disadvantaged groups, including AGYW who are mothers, divorced/widowed, and/or religious/ethnic minorities. The duration of this project is until November 2025
