Job Responsibilities:
∎ Production Management: Receive the weekly/ monthly production plan from the planning team to be implemented on the Operations floor
∎ Attend the pre-production meetings; Provide relevant inputs for the production plan
∎ Plan and organize machine allocation and raw materials basis the production schedules
∎ Continuously assess the project and resource requirements; Liaise with Industrial Engineering and Planning team in case of deviations
∎ Oversee production through displays and reports against the production plan
∎ Manage production pipeline with the executives; Ensue minimum down-time; Track machine utilization to adhere to optimum levels
∎ Oversee the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
∎ Validations and checks: Perform high level quality check on the product samples basis the set quality parameters
∎ In case of repeated quality issues, conduct validation of process and raw materials used
∎ Train the team on improved mechanisms and new material to be used
∎ Process improvement: Control wastage of resources, machines, raw materials, chemicals and other accessories
∎ Guide the Executives to scout for efficient ways of running the operations
