Job Context:
∎ Job Summery:
∎ The Manager is responsible to assist Senior Director to support sector and central service units (CSU) in strategic action planning (SAP) to maintain integrity, consistency and accuracy by all sector and central services of Friendship. This includes sets template, outline, tools, technical support and coordinates with Sector and CSUs.
∎ Role purpose:
∎ Friendship delivers immediate and lasting change for people in need in all contexts. The Strategy and Quality Development is vital of its program implementation. The Manager is responsible to assist the departments for overall strategic follow up of implementation, integration and for development of high quality, innovative programs. The Manager will also support the Senior Director-Strategic Planning for the planning, logistics, communication, scheduling and coordination for day to day work.
∎ Scope of Role:
∎ Dimensions: The scope of work includes development of tools related to designing and implementation tracking of different program and support activities. Follow up online monthly report submission and provide feedback on procedure and protocols. Organize periodic workshops and meeting to review Performance. The sectors include Health, Inclusive Citizenship, Education, Climate Action, Cultural Preservation and Sustainable Economic Development and Central support Units.
∎ The major contacts: Mostly with SAP Focal Person of all departments. However, may need to contact/coordinate with Heads, Team leaders, Senior/Program Managers.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic Planning:
∎ Assist in Facilitation for the development of program strategies and annual plans ensuring appropriate stakeholder involvement and input
∎ Participate in strategic action planning development process and implementation follow up
∎ Ensure that SAP uploaded and time to time analyzed for efficient management support.
∎ Coordination and Technical Assistance:
∎ Coordinate SAP planning and offer technical assistance if needed.
∎ Ensure that all sectors and CSU apply SAP software.
∎ Liaison with MIS and SP Focal Person
∎ Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning:
∎ Assist in maintaining a supportive and consistent monition of Strategic Action Plan implementation.
∎ Assist in measuring achievement and progress toward program goals and results
∎ Assist in ensure learning by the program from relevant best practice and assess performance regularly against agreed program objectives and indicators .

Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge on MS-Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Internet and data entry
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
∎ Good analytical skills.
∎ Sound knowledge on administrative and logistics management.
∎ Written and spoken knowledge on English and Bangla.
∎ Ability to work independently and within diversified team.
