Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Serve as the key point of contact for buyers regarding product inquiries, costing, sampling, order placement, and delivery.
∎ Coordinate with the design and production teams to develop new cap and hat styles according to market trends and buyer requirements.
∎ Prepare accurate cost sheets for new developments and negotiate prices with buyers to ensure profitability.
∎ Manage the sampling process from concept to final approval, ensuring samples meet buyer specs and timelines.
∎ Monitor all aspects of order processing, including production planning, raw material procurement, lead times, and shipping schedules.
∎ Liaise between the factory floor and the merchandising team to ensure production meets buyer expectations and delivery deadlines.
∎ Work closely with the QC team to ensure product quality standards are maintained throughout production.
∎ Stay updated on fashion trends, materials, and competitors in the cap and headwear industry.
∎ Maintain up-to-date order tracking, WIP (work-in-progress) reports, and provide regular updates to management and clients.
