  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in marketing or merchandising in a reputed export oriented garments/apparel manufacturing company.

  • Strong experience in dealing with international buyers (US, EU, UK or others markets preferred).

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes and production flow.

  • Sound knowledge of costing, T&A planning, and product development.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, power point presentation skills and good written communications skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • High integrity, proactive attitude, and solution-oriented mindset.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a garments related experienced and dynamic Manager – Marketing & Merchandising to lead and manage our merchandising and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, managing buyer accounts, ensuring timely execution of orders, and working closely with production to ensure smooth operations from order confirmation to shipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers and brands.

  • Identify new market opportunities and initiate new business with global customers.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to position the company effectively.

  • Oversee the entire merchandising process – from order development, costing, sample approvals, and pre-production activities to shipment.

  • Manage T&A (Time & Action) calendar to ensure timely delivery of goods.

  • Coordinate with design, sampling, sourcing, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Monitor raw material procurement, production follow-up, and quality assurance with relevant departments.

  • Monitoring individual orders from beginning to shipment and ensuring they are delivered on time with quality.

  • Develop new samples as per the buyer`s standard, specification & quality, and maintain on-time submission.

  • Arrange fabrics and trims for new sample development. Work with trim suppliers to ensure the right quality and on-time delivery.

  • Act as a key point of contact between buyers and internal teams.

  • Handle buyer communications, clarifications, and negotiations for prices, deliveries, and quality.

  • Ensure buyer compliance and audits are addressed as per their standards.

  • Follow up & coordination with the Production, Quality, and Commercial Departments.

  • Maintain the required database and prepare required reports and presentations.

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of merchandisers and marketing executives.

  • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance evaluations.
