Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Law (LLB)
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Advocateship
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Compliance Law, Credit Recovery, Land Law, Legal Affairs, Litigation
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage litigation cases, outsourced through law firms that may arise due to any misunderstanding with various parties and customers.
∎ Analyze each litigation issue for recommending to the management with appropriate legal action based on proper assessment
∎ Liaison and deal with external legal consultant for ensuring accurate legal action as per management instruction
∎ Negotiate when necessary out of court settlements satisfactory to both parties.
∎ Supervise the land survey of the Company if needed.
∎ Prepare Legal Notice in case of any legal dispute arises among land holders, employees with settlement issues or criminal background, defaulted dealers etc.
∎ Ensure required legal documents for contract agreements and MOU for internal stakeholders
∎ Prepare research/ SOP framework for addressing various legal issues
∎ Represent the company in all judicial issues concerning Land
∎ Check the legal status of the land (mortgaged or leased or ownership) at the relevant Sub-register office(s) and appropriate office(s).
∎ Supervise the land survey of the Company if needed.
∎ Ensure legal actions are taken against financial defaulter dealers, ex-employees on behalf of the organization.
∎ Arbitrate with the defaulters for time to time for recovery
∎ Provide adequate training to internal and external stakeholders regarding compliance and Law
∎ Assist Administration Dept. for succeeding national and international Compliance/ Audit for the factories
∎ Make Liaison with regulatory bodies such as- AC Land office, Rajuk, PWD, City Corporation (detailed mentioned in Internal Relationship) and maintaining a good relation for organizational benefits.
∎ Recommend the appointment of external law firms, when needed, and provide adequate instructions to assist in conducting the legal affairs of the company; follow up the delivery of services requested.
