• Handling large volume land purchase preferable for power plant.

• Must have sufficient knowledge in LAND LAW & CIVIL LAW and other related activities.

• Strong interpersonal, communication skill and leadership qualities

Job Context:

We have immediate opening for Manager, Legal & Land in North/South Bengal Districts in Bangladesh. This opportunity is based out on accepting new challenges within a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for leading the Legal & Land team and all members involved in the diligence process, including directing the negotiation and legal documentation of purchase agreements and escrow & title documents.       

• Managing and supervising a team of legal and land professionals, ensuring effective execution of tasks.       
• Providing legal advice on land-related matters, including acquisitions, leases, property rights, and land disputes.
• Ensuring the company complies with local, state, and national laws related to land, property, zoning, and real estate transactions.      
• Oversee the preparation, review, and negotiation of legal documents such as contracts, agreements, deeds, and land titles.        
• Coordinating with external legal counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.        
• Managing land portfolios and ensure optimal use of company-owned or leased land.       
• Managing disputes that may arise from contracts and ensure effective resolution.
• Support project teams with land-related legal matters, including obtaining permits, zoning approvals, and environmental clearances.
• Lead and direct due diligence efforts with internal team, external consultants and local jurisdictions.
• To meet with landowners, lawyers regarding land issues.
• To maintain cordial communication with concern government offices.
• Any other tasks as and when assign by the management.
