Responsibilities & Context:
∎ CCECC Bangladesh Limited is seeking a capable and experienced professional to lead its business diversification team. This role requires expertise in successful delivery development of new business development, financial model, feasibility study, stakeholder consultation, regulatory compliance and cross-sector project development.
∎ Identify target markets and develop new business opportunities to expand the portfolio and pursue growth initiatives.
∎ Conduct feasibility studies for new projects or expansions, evaluating investment opportunities through ROI analysis.
∎ Research industries and businesses to support data-driven investment recommendations.
∎ Develop and maintain financial models to assess transaction viability and profitability.
∎ Perform business valuations using DCF and comparable company analysis, evaluating financial health through ratio, liquidity, solvency, and profitability analysis.
∎ Identify and evaluate short-, medium-, and long-term investment opportunities in equities and fixed-income instruments.
∎ Prepare investment proposals, presentations, and pitch books to communicate strategies to clients.
∎ Contribute to M&A analysis, restructuring, and financing, including sensitivity analysis and stress testing.
∎ Develop SOPs for application, renewal, and compliance of licenses/permits required for business setup.
∎ Coordinate with internal teams to prepare documentation, track regulatory updates, and maintain approvals.
∎ Review and interpret PPP bid documents, terms, and conditions; create compliance checklists and matrices.
∎ Prepare agreements and other legal documents in collaboration with stakeholders.
∎ Liaise with investors, government entities, and private organizations to facilitate business opportunities.
∎ Analyze budgets, policy updates, and public reports to support investment proposal preparation.
∎ Monitor market developments, economic trends, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
∎ Ability to learn about new technologies.
∎ China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) has been completed and executing numerous EPC and construction Contract, covering transportation infrastructure, dredging, marine works, water and sanitation, and power & energy sectors since its inception in Bangladesh. Additionally, CCECC has set up its South Asian Regional Headquarters in Dhaka, Bangladesh overseeing business operations in Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. The Corporate Development Division of the company now aims to build a specialized team to expand its investment business in the region.
