Educational Requirements:
∎ M. Pharm or MBA from any reputed university having 10 years of experience in exporting pharmaceutical products and/or health related products.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify and create new overseas customers & new products.
∎ Identify the market potential and generating proposals for pharmaceuticals and other health related products.
∎ Conversion of inquiries to orders.
∎ Prepare documents for product registration in different countries.
∎ Must be aware about country specific regulatory requirements to coordinate between market & regulatory / legal team.
∎ Obtain different types of permissions and licenses from Drug Administration for export.
∎ Liaise with Product Management Department for different technical and scientific documents.
∎ Keep abreast with the latest costing of products for preparing international proposals.
∎ Maintain adequate contacts with C&F Agents for forwarding products and be aware about the best shipment routes with minimum costs for export.
∎ Prepare strategic international marketing plan in a steep competitive markets.
∎ Prepare country specific budget for exports considering all exportable product costs as well as overall costs of market promotion, distribution and regulatory affairs.
∎ Make professional presentations to prospective clients for export.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ 12 year(s) in reputed pharmaceutical company.
∎ Must have prior experience in Pharmaceutical Business Development in overseas markets.
∎ Should have experience in import of cancer drugs, medical devices and such other products.
∎ Good business acumen, with high level of planning & organizational skills.
∎ Ability to acquire knowledge quickly and apply to diverse situations and train others to create a high level of operational excellence.
∎ Candidates must be proficient in both verbal and written English.
∎ Excellent IT skills - including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
∎ Candidates must be able to work independently and under time pressure.
