Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in IPE or Textile

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review line layout basis bulletin and confirmation from the merchandising team on order receipt
∎ Understand order and project the number and type of machines required for the project
∎ Review capacity planning for the production plan given by the planning team and share the same with operation manager
∎ Maintain skill inventory basis pre-defined parameters
∎ Review IE executives meetings and discussions with the operations team; give necessary inputs as and when required
∎ Review feeding plan before and after handover to the technician and oversee transfer of the plan as per timelines
∎ Prepare manpower plan based on production forecasts
∎ Conduct manpower balancing on a periodic basis to ensure resource availability and optimization
∎ Follow up on production capacity to identify the bottle neck in operations and take appropriate corrective measures in case of deviations
∎ Review production target achievement before and after handover to the operations team
∎ Prepare layout, skill updating and capacity planning documents
∎ Design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and control product quality
∎ On board new hires and assign them to training sessions
∎ Organize on the job and off the job training for new operators and IE team members
∎ Identify future training needs and create curriculum to facilitate that training
∎ Manage discipline within the team members in the operations floor
∎ Gather inputs from IE executives, production team and quality team on process improvement and efficiency ideas and implement them
∎ Track team performance at an overall and individual level and provide support/ guidance wherever required
∎ Manage effective resource allocation, enhance the capability quotient of team members and drive higher team engagement through appropriate HR interventions

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Experience in managerial capacity in the apparel industry is preferred
∎ The job holder needs to have in-depth knowledge on IE & Costing specially for sweater and Manpower Management.
