Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 35 years
  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, or relevant discipline.

  • Candidates with professional certifications (PGDSCM, CSCM, or related to Supply Chain/International Trade) will get preference.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in import management, customs bond handling, and BEPZA coordination.

  • Experience in RMG/Textile manufacturing sector will be given preference.

  • Strong knowledge of bond license rules, customs clearance procedures, and BEPZA regulations.

  • Proficiency in import documentation, LC management, and bonded warehouse compliance.

  • Excellent communication and liaison skills with BEPZA, Customs, and related stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Computer literacy: MS Office & ERP systems.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and compliance-focused.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Manage end-to-end import activities including LC opening, LC settlement, and documentation.

  • Maintain and oversee bond license management, ensuring strict compliance with Customs Bond regulations.

  • Handle bond-related audits, renewals, and reconciliations in coordination with customs and BEPZA officials.

  • Liaise with shipping agents, C&F agents, freight forwarders, and suppliers for timely clearance of imported goods.

  • Prepare, verify, and manage all import-related documents (Bill of Entry, Invoice, Packing List, C/O, etc.).

  • Coordinate with BEPZA and customs authorities for approvals, clearance, and license-related activities.

  • Ensure accurate bond utilization tracking for raw materials, fabrics, trims, and machinery.

  • Maintain documentation and reports for submission to BEPZA, Customs, and other regulatory bodies.

  • Develop and maintain effective vendor and stakeholder relationships for smooth import operations.

  • Supervise team members engaged in import and bond compliance activities.
