Responsibilities & Context:

Mitsubishi Power Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., Bangladesh Branch is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support commercial operations, after-sales activities, logistics coordination, and contract administration for power generation projects, long-term service agreements (LTSA), outages, inspections, and related business activities.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate commercial activities for projects, outages, inspections, after-sales services, and LTSA contracts from pre-award to post-award stages.

  • Support RFQ management, quotation preparation, commercial negotiations, purchase order processing, letter of credit (LC) coordination, and customer communications.

  • Monitor billing, invoicing, payment collection, and receivables in coordination with Finance, Headquarters, and customers.

  • Manage shipment and logistics activities for imported parts, tools, and equipment, including coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Review and verify shipping and import documentation such as Proforma Invoice (PI), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, LC documents, and customs-related paperwork.

  • Support contract administration, commercial documentation, amendments, compliance requirements, and adherence to contractual obligations and company policies.

  • Coordinate subcontract-related activities, including scope alignment, documentation, approvals, payment processing, and communication with Headquarters and regional offices.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, After-sales, Projects, Engineering, Finance, Administration, and regional teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Assist in organizing customer meetings, site visits, technical seminars, workshops, promotional events, and business development activities.

  • Prepare and maintain commercial, logistics, shipment, payment, and project status reports for management review.

  • Monitor project-related risks, support claim prevention activities, and assist in resolving commercial and contractual issues.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Provide cross-functional support and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management to meet business objectives.
