Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:
A leading Sweater Manufacturing Factory is seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead its Commercial Department. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all import-export activities, customs and bond compliance, banking operations, shipping, and commercial team management while ensuring smooth business operations and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire Commercial Department.

  • Oversee all import, export, shipping, customs, bond, and UD operations.

  • Ensure compliance with BGMEA, Customs, Bond Commissionerate, Bangladesh Bank, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Manage LC opening, amendment, negotiation, and settlement processes.

  • Monitor UD balances, raw material consumption, and import-export documentation.

  • Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, and government authorities.

  • Ensure timely shipment execution and resolve commercial-related issues.

  • Develop commercial policies, systems, and SOPs to improve operational efficiency.

  • Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team.
