∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contact landowners in specific target areas directly (in person, by phone, letters of interest, and other means).
∎ Establish relationships based on integrity throughout the real estate community - landowners, brokers, municipal employees, engineers, developers, attorneys, land planners, and personal relationships which may lead to an opportunity.
∎ Attend networking events to generate new contacts and source deals.
∎ Source, structure, and close various types of land deals, starting from the scratch.
∎ Maintain a tracking log of viable tracts and comparable transactions.
∎ Oversee commercial, legal, and financial due diligence; perform valuation, market, and risk analyses of potential acquisitions targets.
∎ Utilize Google Earth and other mapping tools to create exhibits and track land opportunities.
∎ Incorporate utility information, floodplain, and net acreage into map exhibits.
∎ Work closely with development, marketing and sales, administration teams to initiate and lead new acquisition opportunities.
∎ Effectively manage and coach other professionals and collaboratively work with cross-functional teams across the organization.
∎ Drive and audit Acquisition projects on a weekly basis; reporting at weekly Land Meetings.
∎ Meet and oversee consultants as needed.
