Job Context:
∎ Purbasha Composite Tex limited a modern setup for basic and fancy knitwear (lingerie item) factory.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ You shall follow up all the order's fabrics (running and new) assigned to your subordinates and make a spreadsheet so that management can get any information from you when needed.
∎ Make sure all kinds of approval receive from buyers/buying in time.
∎ Have a good relationship with different knitting and dyeing factory.
∎ Have a great knowledge on different fabrics, shade, GSM, costing etc.
∎ Responsible to coordinate all the activities of Fabric production. Ensure Quality and timely delivery, i.e. to fulfill the marketing requirements.
∎ Co-ordinate with Merchandising /Production/Development team for any kinds of fabric requirements i.e. Production, Development, Testing, Lab Dip, samples etc
∎ Co-ordinate fabric mill's Production & Planning team to ensure the TNA/OTD
∎ Oversee color development of solid fabrics, and comment on lab dips for color approval and direction into bulk.
∎ Oversee fabric /textile development of yarn dyed fabrics from development through to production.
∎ Comment on Print strike offs for production (print artwork is sent by the CAD person).
∎ Keep very organized records of fabrics developed, lab dips, SRS references and bulk submits.
∎ Keep very organized information on fabric details for costing meetings.
∎ Have knowledge of mills within the price range & to research counter sourcing.
∎ Very detail oriented and ability to drive to completion with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
∎ Clear understanding of general fabric development process
∎ Solid fabric construction knowledge across a specialized area (i.e. woven, knit, yarn, trim) and general fabric construction understanding across woven (denim/non denim)
∎ Clear understanding of dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques
∎ Any other responsibilities given by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have knowledge about the International Quality Norms of the fabric quality
∎ Required Experience in Fabric planning & Production following up.
∎ Excellent in communication skill in both English and Bengali
∎ Good leadership
∎ Hardworking & able to work under pressure
∎ Must have experience working with reputed Buyers
∎ Good in Computing skills like MS Office
